    These positions will operate mainly rotating schedule (every other weekend off -pm shift) but must have flexibility to alter shift hours and work overtime when necessary. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate will be required to maintain:

    • A safe, clean and organized plant; You will be required to communicate with fellow workers in a positive professional manner.
    • You will be responsible to set a good example for employees to follow, in your work ethics, including strong safety habits; Exhibit a professional and positive approach at all times.

    Job responsibilities

    • Must be able to program PLC’s and/or CNC’s and have the capability to troubleshoot ladder logic.
    • Must be able to troubleshoot and repair various CNC’s, Saw’s, lathes and other fabrication equipment.
    • This position will require the use of a mobile equipment. Therefore, successful completion of an internal mobile equipment training course is required.
    • Must be able to weld effectively.
    • Must be able to learn the correct and safest means of using all maintenance equipment.                  
    • Must be able to perform electrical repairs on production equipment and be capable of working from prints and instructions when performing electrical installations and repairs.
    • Must have knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic operated machinery, equipment, and systems.
    • Must be able to efficiently use various maintenance tools, including, but not limited to, saws, cutting torches, shop equipment, power hand tools, and related hand tools.
    • Must make good and timely decisions, work and use time efficiently, and correctly determine, identify, and request parts and supplies.
    • Must also be able to make building repairs and be able to work in the area of pipefitting, plumbing, and carpentry.
    • This position will require the use of a mobile equipment. Therefore, successful completion of an internal mobile equipment training course is required.


    Work Experience

    §  3 – 6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required. 

    §  Previous maintenance experience is required.

    §  Knowledge of robotic controls and programming is required.

    §  Computer skills including Microsoft office tools and data analysis. 

    §  Previous aluminum fabrication experience preferred

    §  Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment

    §  Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

    §  Must be able to communicate effectively with subordinates, peers, and managers individually and in group setting.

    §  Goal and results orientated


    §  H.S. or equivalent (e.g. GED) required; A technical degree or equivalent technical training is required.


    §  Able to communicate orally and in writing effectively with Fluency in English

    Physical Requirements

    §  Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

    §  Limited opportunity for sitting but must be able to sit for extended period of time if necessary

    §  Frequent bending, reaching, grasping, lifting 5-25 pounds

    §  Infrequent lifting of objects greater than 25 pounds

    §  Limited pushing/pulling, climbing

    §  Must be able to work in extreme temperature conditions (hot and cold)

    • Capable and proficient at multi-tasking and handling high pressure environment
